If you're in the area, The Local Spot is exactly what you'd expect--a cozy, no-frills breakfast diner with a welcoming vibe. The prices are very reasonable (in this economy? What a rare treat). The seating is limited inside, but there's plenty of outdoor space to enjoy your meal, especially on a nice morning. I visited on a Wednesday and it was already packed inside, so I can't imagine how busy it gets on weekends. Honestly, it's a great option if you're nearby--nothing fancy, but it definitely hits the spot. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to visit, but if you're in the neighborhood or just happen to be passing by, it's a solid choice for a satisfying breakfast. It's all in the name: it really is the local spot for a reason!

First time visiting this hidden spot. Must say that the saying is true the little hole in the wall places are the best!!!!! Best pancakes according to my husband and he is a pancake connoisseur he ordered the blueberry pancakes they were spongy and chewy and delicious !!! He said when you see tiny holes along the pancake you know it's going to be perfect. And for my plate I ordered the farmers special with scrambled eggs ham, bacon , sausage and the hash browns were on the bottom and extra crispy. I chose the biscuits with extra gravy. And asked for a Serrano chili fried. This spot has very good coffee as well. Most definitely we will be back!!! and also the quality and taste was on point not to mention great service. Pricing is affordable not overpriced. Thank you for a great experience until next time

The service was fantastic. All the servers are super attractive and friendly. The egg benedict was good but the French toasts are just ok OK. Coffee is a bit watering. Ambiance was great.

Absolutely delicious. The breakfast burrito was one of the BEST I've ever had. My husband got the Poor Boy with eggs and was impressed too! Service was FABULOUS! We found this on Yelp and happy we did. We ate on the patio which is very nice. We will be back!

There are so many reasons to love The Local Spot. It starts with their friendly and helpful staff. They work as a team and consistently had various people checking to make sure we had what we needed Outstanding food and portion sizes. We ordered the eggs Benedict, Portuguese sausage, eggs, hash browns, one blueberry pancake and 2 banana pancakes. All of it was delicious. We sat outside and weather was perfect. Not too loud and tucked away from PCH I haven't tried their lunch yet, but Highly recommend for breakfast. Check them out

Came for the breakfast burrito Service: 10/10 Everyone was so kind, patient and very helpful! Every single staff member checked on me and made sure I didn't need anything and when I did need something they brought it right away, even though they weren't my server. I would come back just for the service. Atmosphere: 8/10 Small and quaint. Much more outdoor seating than indoor. Pretty clean, enough to make me feel comfortable enough to stay and eat. I think they just need to rearrange the place and make it more comfortable and inviting. Food: 6/10 I only had the bacon burrito so that's all I can comment on. It was rolled up very poor and about a quarter of the way in I had to set it down and roll it myself so it wouldn't keep falling apart at the other end. Flavor was ok, but the salsa recipes need to be thrown away and revised. The salsa verde was barely decent enough to try and the red one?? Worse than slapping ketchup on your burrito, but even if you like ketchup on yours I don't think you'll like whatever that stuff is they tried to call salsa. I gave up and just ate my burrito with chalula. Overall I would come here for a simple breakfast simply because the service was so phenomenal. And random fyi, but the bathroom is super cute!!

One of my go to spots for breakfast in Long Beach or seal beach depending on how you define city borders. Farmers favorite is my go to on the weekday special menu. The corned beef hash here is amazing! Philly cheesesteak not bad. Denver or vegetarian omelette also fire choices. Their specialty pancakes like the banana or chocolate chips are worth a try. Waffles are huge. definitely try the biscuits and gravy! Won't break the bank and is a good small local business, staff is super friendly, and unlimited coffee refills are a great start to the morning. Nice outside dining of a cozy inside dining as options.
